Russian schools in Latvia defence protest

Governmental parties of Latvia have submitted to the Seim commission for further elaboration a bill which obliges the self-government to provide the Latvian language education in all kindergartens and schools. However, politicians have not discussed when and how this will happen.
The Russian Union of Latvia is a Latvian political party, which is trying to earn political dividends for upholding the “suppressed” rights of the Russian-speaking population in Latvia and is funded by Russia.
