The International Hydrographic Organization PRIMAR (Norway) and IC-ENC (Great Britain) removed from their catalogs the navigational charts of the Russia on the waters of Ukraine.
Russia illegally sold marine electronic navigational charts to the territory of Ukraine, thereby creating a threat to seafaring in the Black Sea and Azov Sea.
The head of the British Hydrographic Service, Tim Lowe, said: “The United Kingdom’s Hydrographic Service has a policy of not recognizing Russia’s control over the Ukrainian Crimea. International organizations and specialized agencies don’t recognize any changes in the status of Crimea or the Black Sea port city of Sevastopol and refrain from actions that could be interpreted as their recognition”.
