New evidence in Markiv’s case has been released

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine has published evidence of his non-involvement in the murder of Italian journalist Andrea Rockelli.

The investigation established that the distance between the position of a serviceman of the National Guard of Ukraine and the place of death of the Italian journalist Rockelli and the Russian translator Mironov was almost 2 km. That is, Markiv could not see them.

In Italy in the summer of 2017, Vitaly Markiv was detained and accused of involvement in the death of Italian journalist Andrea Rockelli. It happened on May 24, 2014, in the Slovyansk district of Donetsk region.
