Russia-backed terrorists fired at JFO positions in Donbas, there is a wounded

On September 6, Russia-backed terrorists in Donbas violated the ceasefire in Donbas. The occupants targeted Ukrainian positions near Krasnohorivka with a grenade launcher.

The invaders fired three rounds of VOG-17 on the positions of the units of the Joint Forces. As a result of the shelling, one Ukrainian soldier was wounded and was evacuated to a medical facility.

“Such insolence of the enemy indicates that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are aimed at disrupting the agreements that were reached by the Trilateral Contact Group on July 22, 2020. Today’s shelling once again proves that the so-called leadership of separate regions of Donetsk and Luhansk regions doesn’t aim to achieve peace,” JFO headquarters.

The Ukrainian military didn’t open fire in response, and the command of the JFO gave the enemy another opportunity to fulfill the requirements that were determined by the TCG.

“Otherwise, during the next shelling of Ukrainian positions, the Joint Forces will provide an adequate rebuff to the enemy from all available forces and means,” the JFO added.
