Poland may provide Germany with an alternative to Nord Stream 2
The Polish government can offer Germany its gas transportation infrastructure in case of abandoning the Nord Stream 2 project. At the same time, Poland believes that Nord Stream 2 runs counter to solidarity and energy security.
This was stated by the spokesman for the Polish government, Piotr Müller.
“If such needs from the German side are declared, then Poland is open to also use the infrastructure that it is building for its energy security. Because we approach energy security in solidarity, we believe that it needs to be built with a pan-European approach,” he said.
