In the Czech Republic, a militant of the so-called DPR from Belarus was sentenced to 4.5 years in prison

A court in Prague (Czech Republic) sentenced a militant of the so-called “Donetsk People’s Republic” Alexei Fadeev to 4.5 years in prison for “helping the separatists.” The prosecutor’s office was unable to prove his involvement in terrorism.

It’s reported that the court found him guilty of helping pro-Russian separatists, although the charges were initially based on a terrorist act.
Also, the sentence provides for deportation from the Czech Republic for four years.

“It was not possible to prove that the defendant was a person who took part in active hostilities and that he shot at the servicemen of the Ukrainian army”, the judge said.

From 2014 to 2016, Fadeev traveled to Donbas several times. He admitted that he was involved in guarding and patrolling, but only fired during the exercise.
