More than 29.5 million doses of the vaccine have been administered in the United States since the start of the coronavirus immunization campaign.
This is evidenced by data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, reports European Pravda, referring to CNN.
Official figures show that 29,577,902 doses have been administered – about 59% of the 49,932,850 doses of vaccine that have been received from manufacturers.
24 million people received at least one dose of the vaccine, and about 5.25 million people were fully vaccinated.
In the U.S., Moderna vaccines are used to vaccinate the population.
