Recently, collaborator Ruslan Balbek, now a State Duma of Russia Federation deputy, proposed creating a platform in Crimea for negotiations on Nagorno-Karabakh.
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry regards the idea of making the occupied Crimea a negotiating platform for the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh as “a seasonal exacerbation of the Kremlin’s puppets”. The idea itself is a failure.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine notes that the initiator of the idea doesn’t understand that civilized states interact only within the framework of international law and respect for the sovereignty of other countries.
“Today, Crimea may not be a place for negotiations, but exclusively their subject for its de-occupation and return to Ukraine. Consequently, the attempts of the Russian Federation in any way to attract representatives of the official authorities of foreign states to the territory of Crimea and thus legitimize their illegal acts are failed,” – reported at the Foreign Ministry.
