In a military hospital in Minsk, 43-year-old Gennadiy Shutov died, who on August 11 received a gunshot wound to the head near the Moscow administration of Brest during protests.

Relatives say that, according to eyewitnesses, Gennady Shutov did not take part in fights or conflicts, but just walked. Witnesses say the shot he received was from the roof of a building.

Gennady Shutov is the third victim of protests after the presidential elections in Belarus, which was reported by the media. Meanwhile, on August 17, human rights activists said that at least five people had died during the protests in Belarus. About 70 people who stopped communicating with their relatives during the days of mass protests in Belarus are considered missing.
