Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba hopes that there will be special cooperation between Kyiv and Washington under President Joe Biden. The new American President knows Ukraine very well.

According to him, with the election of Biden, there is a new US president who knows and understands Ukraine. “During his tenure as vice president, he has paid a lot of personal attention to Ukraine. We appreciate it very much,” Kuleba noted.

He also stressed that Donald Trump had to learn a lot about Ukraine at the beginning of his presidency, which has become a very hot topic in the U.S.

“But the very basis of U.S.-Ukrainian relations has not suffered in any way: our country has broad support in both the Republican and Democratic parties. As long as this continues, we can be sure that our relations will develop well. However, under Biden we hope for a new, special quality of cooperation,” Kuleba added.
