New quarantine rules for foreign nationals traveling to the country will come into force in the U.S. on January 26.
This was reported by the press service of the Embassy of Ukraine in the USA.
In particular, the rules require a negative test for COVID-19, made within three days before the planned trip.
The traveler must provide the airline, in paper or electronic form, with proof of laboratory tests or recovery from COVID-19.
It is also recommended that travelers re-test for COVID-19 in the U.S. on day 3 to 5 after arrival and stay home for 7 days. People who successfully enter the U.S. are advised to take another coronavirus test – on day 3 to 5 after arrival. It’s also a good idea to stay home for 7 days.
