Ukraine is 25th in this year’s Global Firepower ranking of the world’s most powerful armies, according to a statement posted on the company’s website.
The U.S. holds the first place in the ranking. Russia is second, and China is third. The top ten also includes India, Japan, South Korea, France, the United Kingdom, Brazil, and Pakistan. There are 138 countries in the ranking.
In 2020, the Ukrainian Armed Forces ranked 27th in terms of fighting capability according to the Global Firepower rating.
Indicators used to compile the ranking: army strength, aviation, ground forces, navy, natural resources, logistics, financial support, geography.
Ukraine’s rating score is 0.4413. The ideal score is 0.0000. The U.S. leaders have a score of 0.0721.
