Ukraine, Lithuania and Poland launched the first meeting of the Lublin Triangle, which took place online.

“Glad to host FMs Gabrielius Landsbergis & Zbigniew Rau for today’s Lublin Triangle online meeting. Whether security challenges, fighting COVID-19 or Russian disinfo, we are stronger when shaping the future of our Central European region between the Baltic & Black Seas together,” Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba wrote on Twitter.

Lithuania and Poland are represented by Foreign Ministers Gabrielius Landsbergis and Zbigniew Rau.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry announced that the leader of the Belarusian opposition, Svetlana Tikhanovska, had been invited to the “Belarusian” part of the meeting on Ukraine’s initiative.

Within this format, the ministers will hold regular meetings, in particular on the margins of multilateral events and with the participation of selected partners.
