On August 30, the Russia-backed terrorists continued to violate the ceasefire in eastern Ukraine’s Donbas by opening provocative fire in the direction of Joint Forces’ defense positions.
Outside Maryinka, the enemy employed small arms, firing several shots. In the same sector of the front, they used a man-portable anti-tank grenade launcher to remotely plant a POM-2 anti-personnel mine.
“In addition, in the Azov littoral, contrary to the agreements reached within the framework of the Trilateral Contact Group [on Donbas settlement], an enemy quadcopter-type was spotted,” the report reads. Over the past day, two enemy violations of the truce were recorded, which “posed no threat” to Ukrainian troops so Joint Forces did not return fire.
No combat casualties were reported in the past 24 hours.
